About Celia

Celia Landman brings warmth and creativity to mindfulness and meditation practices with teens and adults. She believes that despite trauma, addiction, mental illness, and anxiety, all of us are whole and lovable exactly as we are.

To bring more peace and honesty into her life, Celia studies and shares Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as a path to mindful and loving speech. She holds a master’s degree in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University.

In 2006 Celia encountered the Buddhist path through the teachings of a particularly gentle Zen Master named Thich Nhat Hanh. Seven years later, in 2013, he ordained her as a core member of the Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism.

Celia’s greatest aspiration is to pass on the teachings and deep love that helped heal her heart. She lives in Northwestern, CT with two dogs, two cats, and one husband named Rick. They have two children who are mostly grown.
